Ever wanted to be taught how to make a Longbow and shoot one you've made all by yourself? Here at Heritage Longbows we run a very successful bow making course. Spend 2 full days making your own English Longbow. Learn all about the techniques with easy to understand hands-on teaching. We have dates available throughout the year. Timbers used are :- Backing - Hickory, Maple or Bamboo Core - Purpleheart or Ipe Belly - Lemonwood or Bamboo We have selected the above timbers to use on the course as these combinations give us the best chances of ending up with a bow at the end of the course. This course is to teach you how to make an English Longbow, you can take the bow away with you for FREE Just give us a call to discuss your requirements and have a chat. We can recommend overnight accommodation within walking distance of the workshop if required.
